  • Top Platforms – Facebook (93%) most used social media platform by respondents in Global NGO Tech Report to advance their cause in 2017, followed by Twitter (77%) and Youtube (57%)
  • Brand Awareness – Almost all of respondents found social media to be effective in increasing online brand awareness of organization
  • Online Recruitment – Four in five NGO's agreed that social media greatly helps in recruiting volunteers and event attendees
  • Fund Raising – 71% of organizations surveyed also identified social media as an effective channel for raising funds
