Proof Point Findings

  • Majority Disruptors – Three in four (74%) CEOs see their companies as disruptors in their industries, with only 11% being disrupted by other firms
  • Disruption as Opportunity – Close to two-thirds (64%) of CEOs view technological disruption as opportunity than threat to businesses, with only 16% threatened by disruption
  • Key Drivers – Include exponential advances and decline in cost of core technologies, such as computing power, artificial intelligence, network connectivity, and new materials driving innovation across different fields, convergence of industries, and intensifying global competition
