  • Younger Digital Preferences – More than half of younger generations aged 18 to 34, named digital news media and social platforms as main source for news, with majority of youngest generation more likely to use social media
  • Older Generation Habits – Majority of people older than 25 still use television as main source for news, with oldest generation as biggest user of printed newspaper
  • Key Drivers – Include increasing digital and social media penetration, continuously advancing network connectivity, proliferation of online news content, and better accessibility of content from digital media channels
