- Car Subscription Company – Toyota established new company, Kinto Co. Ltd., that will provide car subscription services in Japan
- Kinto One – Allows customers to choose one out of five Toyota-branded vehicles to be used for three years
- Kinto Select – Lets drivers select one of six Lexus models for period of three years with option to change vehicle every six months
- Rewards – Kinto One drivers can earn rewards points for good driving, which can be used to pay for subscription service
- Pricing – Kinto One service can cost ¥46,100 (US$420) per month for Prius and up to ¥99,000 per month (US$900) for Crown, while Kinto Select can charge ¥180,000 (US$1,600) monthly, including insurance, registration and taxes
- Availability – Kinto Select available by February 6, 2019 and Kinto One by March 1, 2019 through select Toyota and Lexus dealers in Tokyo, with nationwide rollout planned for summer 2019, and more vehicle selections to be offered in autumn 2019
