- Worker Surveillance System – Housing Development Board (HDB) of Singapore leveraging artificial intelligence and CCTV cameras to centralize and automate monitoring of safety of construction workers
- Automated Monitoring – AI alerts supervisors when workers get near high risk zones, such as one meter from non-barricaded edges and within path of cranes carrying heavy loads
- Advantages – Expands coverage, as well as reduces manual labor and human errors caused by fatigue
- Testing – Trials undergoing at Clementi Peaks Build-to-Order (BTO) site since September 2019, which will end in 2020 Q4
- Next Steps – If successful, system can expand to cover more areas, such as within pathway of vehicles, site traffic management and confined spaces
