  • Clear My Record – Non-profit organization Code for America developed algorithm, called Clear My Record, that analyzes criminal data to find cannabis cases that can be expunged or reduced
  • Legalized Marijuana – California law called Proposition 64 legalized marijuana use for recreational purposes among those aged 21 and older
  • Automatic Forms – Algorithm also automatically fills up forms for review of district attorney, which will be filed in court to finalize process
  • Over 8,000 Cases – Algorithm has already expunged more than 8,000 cases in San Francisco, with some dating back to 1975, hoping to reach 250,000 by end of 2019
