- Foldable Phone – Consumer technology company Samsung unveiled foldable phone on November 8, 2018 at Samsung’s developer conference in California
- Hybrid Device – When unfolded, device functions as 7.3-inch tablet and when folded, transforms into 4.6-inch smartphone, with phone able to display three apps simultaneously
- Display Technology – Called Infinity Flex Display, organic light emitting diode (OLED) hardware made of advanced composite polymer or plastic instead of glass
- Operating System Support – Currently working with Google, which also announced new Android operating system design that will support foldable phones, at Android developers summit
- Availability – Production said to start in coming months and will launch in 2019
