- Voice-Controlled Smart Assistant – Artificial intelligence application that uses voice recognition, natural language processing, and speech synthesis to converse with users and assist in completing tasks through internet (e.g. Siri, Alexa, Cortana)
- Top Home Assistants – Three in four smart home users in U.K. and U.S. used Amazon Echo’s Alexa on owned devices as of August 2018, followed by Google Assistant (57%) and Apple's Siri (56%)
- Trailing Players – Microsoft's Cortana and Samsung's S Voice follow behind with 33% and 12% user adoption, respectively
