  • Developers – Built by Airbus and IBM using Watson AI technology to answer questions with data stored in cloud
  • Physical Features – Shaped like ball, weighs 5 kilograms, and produced entirely with 3D printing
  • AI Training – AI trained with voice samples and photos of astronaut Alexander Gerst, as well as procedures and plans of Columbus module
  • Three Tasks – After testing, CIMON will help Gerst with three tasks, including experimenting with crystals, solving Rubik’s cube, and conducting medical experiment using CIMON as flying camera
