- Private-Government Collaboration – SK Telecom signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Korea National Police Agency (KNPA) and Korea Road Traffic Authority (KoROAD) to share T Map data and traffic signal information with each other on November 6, 2019
- T Map Upgrades – SK Telecom plans to add and show traffic signals in T Map to enhance service and accuracy of arrival time predictions
- Traffic Enhancement – KNPA will use data from T Map to improve public traffic signal system
- Road Infrastructure Development – SK Telecom and KoROAD will also verify technologies used to develop and test 5G-based traffic signal system, which will upgrade existing traffic signal devices into 5G-ready infrastructure
