- Military to Agriculture Drone – Meat and Livestock Australia and robotics firm HDT Global will deploy autonomous six-wheel military ground drone, called HDT Global Hunter Wolf, to Australian cattle farms, starting with Queensland and Northern Territory
- Drone Features – Can carry up to 453 kilograms of weight for 72 hours and similar in size to quad bike
- Components – Include infrared cameras, sensors, global positioning system (GPS), software, and hardware application
- Agriculture Application – Customized version, which will be ready in late 2018, will help farmers monitor and care for cattle
- Other Agriculture Robots – Other agriculture robots being tested in Australia include SwagBot, which helps monitor livestock and soil moisture, and Ladybird, designed to track vegetable patches for weeds and pests
