- Uneven Expectations – 60% of respondents in Pew Research Center survey believe that the major reason for lack of women representation in top business positions in 2018 is because they have to prove themselves more than men
- Social Discrimination – Respondents also identified gender discrimination (54%), companies not ready to hire women leaders (47%), family responsibilities (44%) and lack of women encouragement from early age as other top reasons
- Uninterested Women – 17% of adults surveyed said there is a lack of women leaders because there not as many who are interested in those positions
- Key Growth Drivers – Include emergence of more gender-sensitive work cultures, increasing skills and competencies of women, and growing company consciousness to diversify teams
