- Robot Project – Tokyo Olympics’ Organizing Committee launched Tokyo 2020 Robot Project on March 15, 2019, which will pilot use of robots during Tokyo 2020 Games
- Assistive Robots – Japanese car manufacturer Toyota will provide assistive robots for disabled in wheelchairs, which can carry food and other goods, guide people to seats, and share event information
- Exoskeletons – Consumer electronics company Panasonic will assist workers with Power Assist Suit exoskeletons to help them carry food, trash, and other heavy cargo
