  • Pilot City – Chinese startup EHang announced it selected Guangzhou, China as pilot city to build network of autonomous aerial vehicles for transporting humans and goods by 2019 or 2020
  • Government Collaboration – Will work with Guangzhou government to develop infrastructure, such as landing and take off pads, and update regulations to accommodate passenger drones
  • Regulatory Approval – Became first company approved by China's Civil Aviation Administration to conduct pilot program for AAVs in January 2019
