- Pilot City – Chinese startup EHang announced it selected Guangzhou, China as pilot city to build network of autonomous aerial vehicles for transporting humans and goods by 2019 or 2020
- Government Collaboration – Will work with Guangzhou government to develop infrastructure, such as landing and take off pads, and update regulations to accommodate passenger drones
- Regulatory Approval – Became first company approved by China's Civil Aviation Administration to conduct pilot program for AAVs in January 2019
- Transport Network –Will set up command and control center ensuring multiple AAVs fly simultaneously in safe and efficient manner along three or four flight routes
- Testing – Will further test more flight routes and vertiports, in addition to 2,000 flights already undertaken in China and abroad
- Partnerships – Plans to work with partners to transport goods including medical supplies, and expand coverage in Guangzhou
