- Internal Development – Nearly half (48%) of hiring managers surveyed by ManpowerGroup trained and developed internal staff for open positions
- External Recruitment – Four in ten of employers recruited from external pool of candidates, offering higher salaries (22%) and providing additional benefits (19%) to attract right people
- Other Strategies – 27% of employers also used alternative sourcing strategies, 17% changed existing work models, and 12% outsourced talent just to fill vacant positions
- Key Drivers – Include increasingly shifting work requirements, growing candidate demand for greater workplace flexibility, and lack of up-to-date and specialized skills
