- Increased Use of Virtual Channels – Most respondents in Deloitte survey believe use of virtual communication channels to increase in next three to five years from 2018
- Top Virtual Platforms – Top platforms that respondents believe will see increased use in next three to five years include online collaboration platforms (70%), work-based social media (67%), and instant messaging (62%)
- Declining Traditional Meetings – At least three in ten survey participants believe use of more traditional channels, such as face-to-face (44%), through phone (30%) or text (30%) is likely to decrease in next three to five years
- Key Growth Drivers – Include rising preference for cloud-based collaboration tools and solutions, improving network connectivity, and growing demand for business process automation to increase productivity and efficiency
