- Consumer Avoidance – U.S. consumers affected or had heard of data breach via media resorted to avoiding or deleting certain apps (64%) as top course of action, while some also chose to close or not visit specific websites (27%) and not buy certain products (9%), according to Deloitte and SSI study
- Greater Scrutiny – 47% of U.S. consumers adjusted privacy settings on their mobile phone, 28% disabled cookies, and 26% paid closer attention to privacy agreements
