  • Freelancers Development – 55% of freelancers have updated their skills within last six months, with two in ten freelancers doing so on week before survey reponses were collected
  • Non-Freelancers Lagging – Just 30% of non-freelancers learned new skills within last six months from date of survey, with one-fourth claiming they have never done it in the past
  • Key Drivers – Include increasingly shifting work requirements, greater spending on corporate training programs, expanding accessibility of online learning platforms, and lack of workers with up-to-date and specialized skills
