- AKoin – Singer Akon (Aliaume Thiam) will launch own cryptocurrency called AKoin in July 2018, which can be used for transacting in marketplace, exchanged into local fiat money, and will be less volatile than other currencies
- Futuristic City – Akon building futuristic city in Senegal, Africa, which will use AKoin as primary payment system for transactions
- Smartphone Access – Allows consumers to save, spend, and earn cryptocurrency Akoin through suite of blockchain-enabled apps accessible via smartphone
