- Rapidly Evolving Skills – Businesses surveyed by Vodafone believe current workplaces are rapidly evolving, with seven in ten agreeing that skills are becoming outdated faster than ever before
- Digital Technology Importance – 69% of respondents expect digital technology skills to become most important skill in workplace in next three to five years
- Communication Talent – Communication skills (57%) rank second as most important workplace skill across all sectors in next three to five years, while particularly preferred in healthcare and pharmaceutical industries
- People Skills – Nearly half of respondents also expect people skills or human understanding to become more important, ranking third across all sectors and first in tech and media industry
- Key Growth Drivers – Include rapidly-accelerating digital technologies, growing demand for business process automation to increase productivity and efficiency, and heightening need for up-to-date, specialized skills
