- Most Used Internal Resources – Employers more inclined to use internal resources, such as in-house classes (85%) and online training (71%), than external resources to train employees in 2018
- External Training – Online education programs (67%), conferences (59%), and instructor-led classes (59%) among top external resources that will be leveraged by employers to develop employees in 2018
- Key Drivers – Include increasingly shifting work requirements, greater spending on corporate training programs, expanding accessibility of online learning platforms, and lack of workers with up-to-date and specialized skills
