- Powerpacks Contract – Tesla won contract to supply four megawatt hours of Powerpacks, company’s lithium-ion battery storage solution, to world’s first hybrid solar, wind and energy storage farm, Kennedy Energy Park, in Australia
- Electrical Capacity – Farm will generate 210,000 megawatt hours of electricity per year, enough to power more than 35,000 Australian homes, comprising of 12 Vestas V136, 3.6 megawatt turbines with hub height of 132 meters, largest wind turbines yet to be deployed in Australia, and 15 megawatts solar panels
- Farm Owners and Operators – Owned by Kennedy Energy Park Holdings Pty Ltd., joint venture between Windlab Ltd. and Eurus Energy Holdings Corp. of Japan, while construction will be managed by Vestas and Quanta
- Costs and Timeline – Construction, which costs $160 million, will take over 12 months and farm will be fully operational before end of 2018
