- Website and Social Media – Almost all of respondents in Salesforce survey expected to use websites and social media for marketing by 2019, with more than three-fourths already using tools in 2017
- Emerging Tech – Though adoption is still relatively low compared to other platforms, intent to use in next two years found highest among emerging technologies, such as AI (27%) IoT (23%) and mobile apps (23%)
- Traditional Channel Decline – Conventional digital marketing platforms now least used channels among covered platforms, such as organic search, paid search, and mobile text messaging
- Key Growth Drivers – Includes rapidly advancing digital marketing platforms, increasing customer demand for seamless customer experience, and intensifying competition for shortening customer attention span
