- Smart Speaker – Stand-alone, Internet-connected speaker that can run tasks, such as streaming music, setting reminders, ordering products, and controlling other connected-home devices, using artificial intelligence and voice commands
- Car/Vehicle – Most (84%) respondents surveyed by NPR interested to have smart speaker technology in their car or vehicle, with four in ten very interested
- On Phone – Eight in ten also interested to use smart speaker technology on their phones
- On Television – 77% want to have smart speaker technology on their television sets
- At Workplaces – 44% of respondents not interested to have smart speakers at their workplaces
- Key Growth Drivers – Include increasing consumer adoption of AI-enabled home devices, intensifying competition among big tech companies, improving network connectivity, and rapidly expanding artificial intelligence capabilities
